Description

The VRC PREMISE program requires bioinformatics support, particularly in the realm of multi-omics data analysis. This will enhance the program’s understanding of human health and disease mechanisms and the correlation with pandemic outbreaks. Multi-omics approaches include integrating genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and metabolomic data, and provide a comprehensive view of biological systems. This comprehensive understanding is crucial in uncovering complex interactions, identify biomarkers, and regulatory networks relevant to pandemic surveillance and response. VRC requires expertise in multi-omics data analysis, and support for biological insights, objective data-driven approaches, and collaborative models in this specialized area. The Subcontractor will be supplied with deidentified datasets by the VRC as a starting point for analysis. Types of data will include, but not be limited to, next generation sequencing, flow cytometry and serological data.
