Description

A portal environment is needed so that the CESDEP project, goals, offerings, limited clinical data and samples are made available to the public for browsing, viewing, requesting for use as well as investigating. Key to this project is enabling an efficient and effective workflow for data visualization and sample request. Secondly, development of an environment where data exploration and visualization leads to hypothesis generation, which in turn leads to sample selection is desired.

Objectives Include:
• Develop a public portal that includes a landing page, that advertises the CESDEP initiative in a modern, professional style.
• Portal functionality will include providing access to the CESDEP biospecimen inventory or a copy of it, for browsing and filtering based on clinical or assay result data for specimen request purposes through an interface to either be developed or integrated.
• Portal integrates application or develops capability to find correlations in the data, and drive hypothesis generation by enabling data visualization.
• Host the CESDEP Portal and all data in a secure environment.
