Description

Leidos Biomedical Research is seeking qualified small business construction contractors capable of providing renovation, alteration, repair, and construction services under a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

Work will primarily be performed at Fort Detrick, Frederick, Maryland, including the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research (FNLCR), and at Government-leased facilities located throughout the Frederick, Maryland area.

Individual Firm-Fixed-Price Task Orders may include, but are not limited to:
• Laboratory renovations and alterations
• Office renovations and interior build-outs
• Selective demolition
• Framing and drywall installation
• Mechanical system installation and modification
• HVAC installation, testing, balancing, and commissioning support
• Electrical system installation and modification
• Plumbing installation and modifications
• Utility tie-ins and shutdown coordination
• Finish carpentry and architectural finishes
• Painting, flooring, ceilings, and miscellaneous interior finishes
• General construction and incidental work necessary to complete task orders
Projects may be performed within:
• Active laboratory facilities
• Occupied office spaces
• Secure or controlled-access environments
• Facilities requiring strict coordination of utility outages while maintaining ongoing operations

Contractors shall be expected to coordinate construction activities to minimize disruption to ongoing research, administrative, and facility operations.

Submission Instructions
Capability statements shall:
• Be submitted electronically in searchable PDF format.
• Be limited to fifteen (15) single-sided pages, excluding the cover page, organizational chart, surety letter, SBA certifications, and SAM.gov registration confirmation.
