Strain Description: These mice express human c-Myc from the probasin promoter in the prostate. The expression level of the transgene is less than the Hi-Myc transgenic mice and therefore these animals begin to show PIN at 4 weeks of age which progresses to cancer by 1 year. These mice are a valuable tool to study the progression of prostate cancer in a mouse model
