Strain Description: This is a conditional allele in which exon 2 of the TGF-beta type II receptor (Tgfbr2) gene was flanked by a LoxP site (Chytil et al., 2002). Homozygous mice are fertile and phenotypically normal. This strain has been used to inactivate the Tgfbr2 gene in various tissues and cell types.
