Ethan Dmitrovsky, M.D., laboratory director of the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research and president of Leidos Biomedical Research, recently published a story in Pulse: Voices From the Heart of Medicine about the human element in medicine and his experience treating a patient with lupus in the intensive care unit when he was an intern.
