Join us for the 2026 edition of the Hood College – Frederick National Laboratory Life Sciences Symposium, which showcases topics in life sciences with an interdisciplinary focus.

Reproducibility in biomedical research is fundamental. Yet complex systemic challenges derail many efforts to reproduce important studies. Solutions are equally complex, calling for changes in all aspects of research practice, from how experiments are performed to how data are analyzed and shared. Scientific standards play a robust role in research reproducibility.

At "Reproducibility in Science 2026," stakeholders from academia, industry, government and scientific journals will come together to build and reinforce standards to enhance reproducibility. Scientific experts will address the unique standards needs for specific fields.

This symposium is organized by Hood College in partnership with the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research. The Frederick National Laboratory promotes the wide adoption of standards to increase rigor and reproducibility and greater sharing of data through its Scientific Standards Hub initiative.
