The annual Scientific Partners Distinguished Lecture Series is a joint initiative between Frederick National Laboratory and Georgetown University to expand scientific exchanges and give rise to new collaborations and initiatives among our respective institutions.

Stephen Stern, Ph.D., director of research and development, head of Pharmacology and Toxicology Section, Nanotechnology Characterization Laboratory, Frederick National Laboratory, will be presenting the talk titled: "Nanoparticle delivery of cancer drugs." This talk will give an overview of the field of nanomedicine, specifically focusing on the use of nanoscale platforms for the delivery of cancer drugs.
