Join us for the next Project Management Night Out seminar at Hood College with speakers Jiwan Giri and CK Osborne, both project managers for the Clinical Monitoring Research Program at the Frederick National Laboratory.
In recent years, the global community has faced numerous public health emergencies, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and Ebola outbreaks. These crises have had significant global health impacts, causing disruptions across various sectors, including clinical research. Clinical research is essential for advancing medical knowledge, developing therapies, and improving patient care. However, the unpredictable nature of public health emergencies poses substantial challenges to clinical research project teams, necessitating comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.
This presentation aims to define and highlight the core characteristics of robust team resilience for effective risk management within clinical research projects conducted during public health emergencies. It will outline key strategies to build and enhance team resilience within clinical research teams, thereby mitigating risk and ensuring the success of clinical research projects. The final section of the presentation will focus on the implementation of tailored risk mitigation strategies, emphasizing transparent communication, adaptability, and collaborative team approaches.
