Dr. William Bocik guides the Imaging Mass Cytometry Laboratory's initiatives so that they align with the strategic interests of the National Cancer Institute and the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research. During his tenure at the Frederick National Laboratory, Bocik collaborated with the RAS Initiative to synchronize research into pharmacological efforts targeting RAS-driven cancers, and with the Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium to organize proteogenomic research efforts. Bocik received his Ph.D. in molecular and computational biophysics, with a focus on biomolecular nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, from Johns Hopkins University.
