Nancy V. Roche, Ph.D. is director of Resources and Data Management for the Vaccine, Immune and Cancer Research Directorate. She has established well-integrated systems for procuring and managing samples efficiently and for procuring data for research to advance understanding of the immune response to SARS-Co-V2 in healthy and in immunocompromised people, particularly cancer patients. One of her major interests is to build and leverage large data sets to inform genetic and immunological discovery, as well as to bring research findings forward to the clinic. In addition, she has a breath of experience in coordination and management of large scientific programs. She oversees SeroNet, as well as development of the Center of Excellence for Serology Development and Emergency Preparedness. Dr. Roche came to the Frederick National Laboratory in 2008 from IBM with a desire to work in cancer research. She has a Ph.D. in Genetics from Indiana University.
