Dr. Muegge obtained her M.D. degree from the Hannover Medical School in Hannover, Germany. During her postdoctoral period, she worked on cytokines and T-cell development in the Laboratory of Molecular Immunoregulation, mentored by Drs. Joost Oppenheim and Scott Durum. As a principal investigator at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research, Muegge investigates the roles of chromatin organization during normal embryonic development and in human disease for the Mouse Cancer Genetics Program.
