John Roach has been with BDP since its inception, when the Fermentation Program operated in support of the Natural Products Branch of the Developmental Therapeutic Program (DTP) of NCI merged with the Monoclonal Antibody and Recombinant Protein Program (MARP) operated in support of the Biological Resource Branch of DTP. He manages all clinical production of natural products, recombinant proteins, monoclonal antibodies, recombinant immunotoxins, plasmid DNA, viral vaccines and cell-based products
Roach began his career at the NCI-FCRF in 1980, as a plant operator with the Fermentation Program and has experience in all facets of manufacturing operations. He has a BA in Chemistry and an MS in Computer Science from Hood College in Frederick.
