Dr. Bruce Brown is a virologist with expertise in neutralization and serology assays. His drive to support vaccine development and immune assessment starts with a deep understanding of the value of references and standards for assays. The ability to directly compare assays against each other is vital for developing new assays. He believes that assays that are sample sparing, multiplexed, and robust enough to allow multiple labs, including resource-limited labs, are required for a rapid world-wide response against future pandemics. Dr. Brown joined FNL early in 2023. He enjoys the FNL’s mission of supporting public health and the passion the team is inspiring.
